On the Road

We are finally headed to Connecticut!

We went to pick up the rental car (an SUV) and they gave us a Subaru Outback!

Let me just tell you, this is a small car. I would not consider this an SUV! It took us an hour just to pack the car. What an adventure! When we were finally packed up we headed to St. Louis to stay with Mom & Dad Peregoy. We were so relieved to be on the road and had a great night sleep!

The next morning we headed to Pennsylvania.

We even drove through Hershey, PA.

Had it not cost a fortune, we would have stopped and enjoyed the chocolate.

Heading through New York, we decided to take a detour and stay at our Uncle Rick and Mary Walquist's house. They live in Lido Beach, NY down the street from the BEACH! We loved spending time with the whole family and can't wait to visit again!

Finally we made our accent to Connecticut.

When we got there, we checked into our apartment complex (which has a fireplace!!). We unloaded our stuff and headed to a hotel (our apartment isn't furnished yet). Our hunger got the best of us and we stopped at a local pizza place for dinner.

Finally, we're home!
